David began his career at FDC over 30 years ago in the company’s former Winooski plant. David represents the third generation in the family business along with his two sisters and his son, who brings a fourth generation to FDC. He follows his grandfather and father, serving as president of the company. He began his first summer in the breakage room where damaged goods were cleaned and repackaged. David worked through delivery, merchandising, sales and sales management before moving into marketing for the company in the mid 90’s and becoming its VP of Sales a decade or so later. 

He lives in South Burlington with his wife, Nancy, where they raised their two children, DJ and Taylor. David enjoys snowboarding, golf, cooking and live music in his spare time.

Ryan returned to Farrell Distributing as Director of Operations in June 2025 and became General Manager in August 2026. He brings over 26 years of experience in the alcohol, retail, and CPG industries, beginning his career in restaurant management and the beer industry while studying public relations at Champaign College. Ryan has spent half his career in supplier management within the three-tier system and the other half in senior wholesale leadership.

Ryan has served on various boards and committees, contributing to the industry and the state of Vermont. He looks forward to collaborating with all departments, managing daily operations, and guiding future plans and priorities. He works directly with Farrell’s employees statewide, supplier partners, retail customers, and community partners, collaborating and networking to drive Vermont opportunities and business.

Mark Moore started his beverage career at Farrell Distributing in 1990 as a sales rep in the Northeast Kingdom. In 1994, Mark left to pursue other career opportunities outside of the industry. It wasn’t long before Mark realized his desire to get back into the wholesale business. After spending many years in the Vermont market working for other wholesalers, gaining knowledge and experience, Mark found his way back to FDC in 2015. He spent a year and a half as the state non-alcoholic manager and, in August of 2017, took on a new role as the state beer manager. In January 2018, Mark transitioned into a newly-formed position of director of portfolio management, and in 2026 assumed the new position of VP of Sales.

During his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife doing various outdoor activities and traveling.

Donald is a graduate of New England Culinary Institute with both an AOS in culinary arts and a degree in food and beverage management. His 14-year career in the hospitality field started in the kitchen and progressed to a manager role in restaurants and resorts from coast to coast. Donald started with Farrell Distributing in 2005 and has been a sales rep, area sales manager, wine educator and wine portfolio manager. Now, he is the director of sales, overseeing ASMs and sales personnel who collectively cover all segments of our account base and our portfolios across the state. He has earned his CSW from the Society of Wine Educators, is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server, Certified Cider Professional and is in the final phase of the WSET Diploma Program. 

After graduating from Johnson and Wales with an associates in culinary arts, Stuart worked in the food and beverage industry for ten years prior to joining Farrell Distributing. While at Farrell Distributing, Stuart managed a fine wine-focused sales team, then went on to developing a specialist team that works closely with key independent accounts across the state, highlighting the many boutique wines, craft beers and non-alcoholic producers within the Farrell portfolio. During his 15-plus years at the company, he has had many educational opportunities and currently holds his WSET Level 3 certification, CSW from the Society of Wine Educators, and is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server. He is now the director of business development and works closely with the State Marketing Manager Nichole Nason as they drive brand awareness and engagement across an ever-evolving portfolio of products from Vermont and beyond. 

When not enjoying a glass of wine or a cold beer, Stuart can be found sailing on Lake Champlain or wandering in the woods with his wife and two sons.

Cathy has worked for FDC since the summer of 2008. She received her Bachelor’s in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University and is a native of Burlington, Vermont. Cathy came to Farrell after nine years with the local Pepsi distributor. Prior to the beverage industry, she spent several years in banking, healthcare and insurance. She enjoys employing her financial skills in all areas of the business as the corporate controller. 

When she isn't working, Cathy spends time with her husband, Rich, and two daughters, Richel and Ryann. She also enjoys attending car shows, camping, reading and watching her daughter play soccer.

Chris joined Farrell Distributing Corp. in May of 2000. He graduated from Vermont Technical College in 1989 and worked as a computer systems engineer for nine years before coming to Farrell. Chris has managed all the computer systems and technology needs for Farrell’s since 2000. Chris deploys technology to streamline processes from the warehouse to the sales force, to better serve our retail partners. 

Chris lives in Essex with his son, Tyler, and daughter, Jocelyn. He enjoys spending his spare time with family and friends, golfing, skiing and riding his motorcycle.

Randy began his career at Farrell Distributing in the fall of 1987. Throughout his tenure, he has held several roles in the organization as a customer service rep, sales rep, area sales manager, brand manager, and currently as portfolio support manager.

Randy resides in the town of Williston with his wife, Christina, and dog, Nora. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, summering on the lake, and playing cards.

DJ has held many positions here at Farrell Distributing over the years and currently serves as an Area Sales Manager. He began his career at Farrell Distributing at the age of 18 as a merchandiser before exploring outside opportunities, such as bartending at Nectar’s in downtown Burlington. DJ has since worked in sales and sales support roles including heading up the creation of our tele-sell department and retail space planning management as well as portfolio manager for our ready-to-drink cocktail, seltzer and flavored malt beverage brands. He also serves as the representative for Vermont on the Board of Directors for the Nation Beer Wholesalers Association. 

Born and raised in Vermont, DJ enjoys playing golf, listening to live music and drinking cold beers brewed in the green mountain state.

Nichole has been with Farrell Distributing since 2010, with numerous roles and responsibilities. Now, as the state marketing manager, Nichole’s responsibilities include: execution of consumer media programs, special events, brand management, content management, digital and social media marketing, partnership alignment, and community outreach experience! She enjoys working directly with brand partners across all segments. 

Nichole is from Essex Jct., Vermont, and is a graduate of the University of Vermont. She enjoys spending her spare time with her husband, Matt, and son, Henry.

Jeff has worked in the beverage industry since 1991 in many different capacities. He started in the warehouse at FDC, working nights and weekends during college. After graduation, Jeff worked on trucks, merchandising, and in sales, before accepting a position at Long Trail as regional manager. Jeff came home to FDC in 2009 as an area sales manager, then became a key account manager in 2017 and, after that, rutland sales manager in February 2021. 

Jeff enjoys playing/coaching hockey, soccer and golf. He often spends his free time hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife, Tina, and kids, McKenna and Mason.

Doug Brassard has been in the beverage industry for nearly 30 years. Being a native Vermonter, he started in retail working at his parents' store in Winooski at the age of 10. He started in the beverage industry just out of college, working as a merchandiser, sales representative, area manager and key account manager. Now, he is in his 7th year at Farrell Distributing as the state non-alcoholic portfolio manager. He works directly with suppliers, our sales team, and retail accounts in growing and building brands. 

He enjoys live music, golfing, traveling and running.

Jason graduated from Champlain College with a degree in hotel and restaurant management and from there, entered the restaurant industry. In 2003, Jason started at Farrell Distributing as a sales rep, then an ASM and fine wine manager and now as the wine portfolio manager. He earned the Certified Specialist of Wine from the Society of Wine Educators, WSET level 3 certification and is a Cicerone Certified Beer Server. 

In his spare time, Jason enjoys boating, golfing and spending time with his family.

Matt has worked in the beverage industry since 1998. He worked for Sheehan Family Companies for the last 11 years in varying roles throughout the sales department, most recently as sales manager. Now, as the craft brand manager at Farrell, Matt works closely with all craft and import suppliers to brand-build for long-term success and relevancy. 

Outside of work, Matt enjoys hiking, skiing, biking, kayaking and live music.

Taylor was first introduced to the world of fine wine by family members who had just returned from a sabbatical in Australia. After graduating from the University of Vermont, he made the snowboarder’s pilgrimage to Lake Tahoe. With Tahoe as a home base, Taylor started exploring the West Coast wine regions, from Santa Barbara to Napa, and even into the Willamette Valley and eastern Washington. During this time, Taylor jumped into the deep end of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, which he stuck with all the way through to rhe diploma program. Next stop was Seattle, where Taylor received a crash course in distribution and small production of old world wines at a boutique importer. After five years on the West Coast, it was time to head back east. Taylor took a job with the esteemed Michael Skurnik Wines, where the next four years he “pounded the pavement” in Manhattan and worked with some of the city’s most exciting restaurants. Taylor is now back in Vermont, applying his studies, experiences and vision to the fine wine portfolio at FDC.

Rod came to work at FDC in August of 1979 doing route delivery for 16 years in the Montpelier branch before becoming the assistant warehouse manager. Later, Rod became the warehouse manager. In 2000, FDC closed the Montpelier warehouse and operated both territories out of the South Burlington facility, where Rod became the assistant warehouse manager, then later became the warehouse manager again. Rod is currently the plant manager and has been for the past three years. 

He lives with his wife, Carol, in Barre and has raised two sons, Ryan and Chris.

John Alger started working for FDC out of the Montpelier branch in 1988 as a route driver. He was transferred to the South Burlington branch in the fall of 1999 after the Montpelier Branch was consolidated into our South Burlington operation. Through the years, John has held various supervisory positions within the delivery/logistics department. Currently, John is the delivery manager for our South Burlington operation. Within this capacity, he ensures our deliveries run smoothly throughout the northern half of Vermont.

Luke has been with FDC since 1995 and is currently the warehouse manager in South Burlington. He has a background in route delivery, HR, risk management and warehouse operations. 

Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf and basketball, as well as spending time with his wife of 23 years, Jenn, and daughters Emma and Annabelle, who attend the University of Vermont and Mt. Mansfield High School, respectively.

Fred joined Farrell Distributing Corp. in March of 1998. Before coming to Farrell Distributing he spent seven years working in warehousing with a mail order business. During his 17 years with Farrell Distributing, Fred has worked in a number of different roles. He began his journey with Farrell Distributing as a delivery driver and enjoyed that position for 8 years, then worked as route delivery supervisor. In March of 2014, Fred was promoted to the role of warehouse manager of the Rutland facility. 

Fred enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Jackie, his daughter, Shay, and son, Alec.

Lynn began working in the office at Farrell in September 2000, coming from 15 years in the banking field. She was promoted to office manager in December of 2004. She enjoys spending time at the beach and watching her kids play soccer and downhill race for Pico. 

She lives in Rutland Town with her husband and their kids, Julia and Maci.

Eric has been with FDC for over 35 years. He graduated from Denver Automotive and Diesel College with an associate degree, then moved back to Vermont and went to work for a heavy equipment company, working on construction, logging equipment and mail trucks. From there, he came to FDC in the Montpelier location for 12 years. In 2000, Eric became the state vehicle maintenance manager in South Burlington. 

Eric lives in Central Vermont with his wife, Cynthia, and two sons, Ellison and Ethan. In his spare time, he has coached his two son’s through youth hockey, and enjoys mountain biking and making maple syrup.

Ann Marie joined Farrell Distributing in 2009 as a member of the night pick crew. She advanced through a variety of warehouse roles, gaining comprehensive experience in daily operations and taking on responsibilities in receiving and inventory management. Her dedication and strong operational knowledge led to her current role as Assistant Warehouse Manager, where she plays a key part in ensuring efficiency and accuracy across warehouse functions.

Outside of work, Ann Marie enjoys gardening, fishing, and spending time camping with family and friends.

Sarah has been with Farrell Distributing since 2013 and currently serves as the On-Premise State Manager. Her career began in the restaurant industry, where she developed a deep passion for hospitality and fine dining. After earning her degree in Business Management from Champlain College, Sarah continued her journey on the West Coast, managing at several resorts. It was during that time that she discovered her love of wine—ultimately earning her Sommelier certification and later her WSET Level III.

Based in Central Vermont, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and nine-year-old daughter. When she’s not tasting wine, you’ll likely find her on the slopes, making the most of Vermont’s long winter months.

Ross started his career with Farrell Distributing in 2016 after graduating from Castleton State College with two bachelor’s degrees, one in Business Management and another in Computer Information Systems and then spent a few years working in the food service industry. He spent his first six years with Farrell Distributing on the sales team in varying roles, Ross then moved into a portfolio role as the Sales Execution Coordinator, working closely with Anheuser-Busch. Today he is our Beer Brand Manager working closely with many of our beer, ready-to-drink- cocktail, seltzer, and flavored malt beverage suppliers.

Born and raised in Vermont, when Ross isn’t spending time at a brewery, on a cruise, or doing something with sports, he is enjoying free time with his wife, Olivia, and their two children.
