Farrell Distributing Supports Folds of Honor with $5,000 Vermont Scholarship Donation

At Farrell Distributing, supporting the communities we serve has always been an important part of who we are. We’re proud to continue that commitment with a $5,000 contribution to Folds of Honor, helping provide educational scholarships to the families of America’s fallen or disabled military service members and first responders.

The contribution was presented on behalf of Farrell Distributing to Aidan Taylor, a Folds of Honor scholarship recipient and senior at the University of Vermont, who accepted the check on behalf of the organization.

For us, one of the most meaningful parts of the Folds of Honor mission is seeing its impact here at home.

Over the past five years, Folds of Honor has awarded 20 scholarships to Vermont residents and students, providing more than $90,000 in educational support. Our $5,000 contribution will help continue that work by funding scholarship assistance here in Vermont.

A Partnership That Has Changed Thousands of Lives

Our support is part of the longstanding relationship between Folds of Honor and Anheuser-Busch, its brands, wholesalers and partners.

Since 2011, the Anheuser-Busch partnership has contributed more than $37 million to Folds of Honor, helping fund more than 7,400 scholarships for deserving families.

Consumers have played an important role in that effort as well. Through Folds of Honor programs involving Budweiser and Bud Light at participating stores, bars and restaurants, communities across the country have helped support the families of military service members and first responders.

Since being founded in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, an F-16 fighter pilot and PGA Professional, Folds of Honor has awarded approximately 73,000 scholarships totaling more than $340 million in educational impact.

Farrell Distributing is honored to play a part in this mission and to work alongside Anheuser-Busch, our customers and our community partners to help Folds of Honor provide educational opportunities for the families of those who have sacrificed so much for all of us.
